Accessibility Statement
Prepared 15 July 2026 · Last reviewed 15 July 2026
This statement covers the ProMeasure app for iPhone and Mac and this website (promeasure.co.uk), both made by Quantum Encoding Ltd.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, applied to the app's native interface using Apple's accessibility technologies (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Increase Contrast, Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency).
How accessible the app is today
ProMeasure is partially conformant: most of the app works with VoiceOver and system text sizes, and we are actively closing the gaps listed below. Partially conformant means some parts of the app do not yet fully meet the standard.
Known limitations
- Some section headings are not yet exposed to VoiceOver's heading rotor, so jumping by heading doesn't work everywhere in the tax filing forms.
- Some filing errors are shown visually but not yet announced aloud to VoiceOver users.
- A small number of buttons and decorative icons are not yet fully labelled for (or hidden from) screen readers.
- The Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency settings are not yet honoured on every animated or translucent surface.
- One or more large display figures use a fixed text size and do not scale with the largest Dynamic Type settings.
- The AR scanning and live-measurement screens are inherently visual: they rely on the camera and on aiming at surfaces, and do not currently offer a screen-reader-only workflow. Measurements they produce are fully accessible afterwards as text.
How we test
The app is audited with Apple's Accessibility Inspector and tested by hand with VoiceOver and large Dynamic Type sizes on iPhone. This statement is updated as gaps close.
